Winter in New England can be dreary and gray, so Dane intends to create a warming explosion of color as a welcome respite from the cold outside. An inveterate world traveler who has visited over 90 countries so far, the photographer is best known for her photographs of people worldwide.

Given this particular gallery space, a long corridor leading to the radiology department, Dane has chosen to hang two international shows. One wall will feature approximately 25 photographs of exotic portraits from 13 countries. The opposite wall will display the same number of photos, this time flowers, from about 8 countries. Many comment that her close-up shots of exotic flowers very much resemble her portraits of people.
